The Gengras center is a private special education school for elementary, middle and high school students with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related behavioral challenges. It focuses on development in the core academic areas, functional application of community life and vocational skills, social skills and independent living.
Lauri took it upon herself to coordinate a “Dress Down for Down Syndrome” day at the Gengras Center, in honor of Grayson, to raise money and donated the money to our Penguin Plunge team to benefit Special Olympics.
Now that is just awesome. Kudos to you Lauri and a big Thank You to all those at the Gengras Center who participated.
