Poor little Grayson has been through so much trauma. He has been pretty fussy today; probably a combination of pain, discomfort, and hunger as he hasn't eaten since Thursday night. He ripped his catheter out that took the staff 2 hours to put in last night.
I was talking with one of the doctors that was in Grayson's surgery and they said he was pretty sick. His intestines were in bad shape. There was so much pressure build up of gas and stool from the blockage that when they made the incision in his abdomen his insides just popped out.
His little body has been through so much, we hate seeing our little boy so sick. We have a feeling this hospital stay is going to be longer than we expected. We have to wait until his bowels start functioning again before we start giving him fluids which could take up to four days. After he starts drinking fluids for a bit and doing well with it we will introduce milk again and make sure he can pass that OK. So it is going to be a slow recovery.
Please just continue to pray for our sons recovery.

Going to church now - will pray for all of you especially dear Grayson. We pray all the time. I even have Fr. May praying for Grayson. I told him several weeks ago about what was going on. Will call shortly. Love you.....
